Here are some pictures of my new studio at Northcote Pottery. Pretty excellent. I love the light in there, makes it easy to go in the morning and work all day.

I went on a brief Easter Holiday to Hotham as well, and took a rare good photograph. As I don't even own a camera I am pretty impressed. It is taken with my telephone. I was particularly taken with those gum trees that have small heart shaped leaves joined together that go in segments up the branch, see the in-studio shot above. I am working with porcelain and stains, to try and get that gumtree blue/green. Pity you can't put that amazing smell in the clay too, mmm gumleaf.
